The newest edition to Walsworth’s Yearbook Suite curriculum – the “New Advisers Field Guide to Yearbook” – is now available as a PDF download in the Yearbook Suite section of walsworthyearbooks.com.
This informative new unit is designed to help advisers navigate the world of yearbook, teaching them what to do and when, and will specifically give new advisers the tips and pointers they need when first starting.
Each section contains practical suggestions, checklists and easily digestible tips. The Field Guide covers the following areas:
- Preparing you
- Preparing your classroom
- Preparing your students
- Preparing your school
- Preparing to end the year
Even experienced yearbook advisers will likely find the Field Guide useful as a refresher or to pick up some new tips.
The Field Guide was written by two former yearbook advisers, Walsworth Yearbooks sales representative Jill Chittum, MJE, and Mike Taylor, Walsworth’s journalism specialist.
