The latest edition of Idea File magazine has been mailed, and we can’t wait to hear what you think. The issue is full of interesting reads, useful information and inspiration examples.

In honor of our 30th anniversary, we’ve redesigned the magazine and added eight more pages of content, making Idea File the largest yearbook magazine in the industry. Over 50 schools from across the country are represented in this issue and we added a new column, “Spotlight On,” while keeping your favorites.

You may have glanced at our sneak peek issue online, but the full magazine has so much more. It includes new content like the fan-favorite column “Caught Our Eye” by Michael Lee of Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane, Washington; “Recognizing Hidden Skills in Middle School Students” by Andrew Young, CJE, of Woodland Junior High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas; “Ethics: An Essential Yearbook Foundation” by Walsworth’s own Jim Jordan and “Five Simple Ideas for Creating Lasting Yearbook Traditions” that various advisers shared. And just because you read the sneak peek, don’t expect to see the exact same thing. Two of those articles have expanded coverage in the full magazine!

If you are feeling the crunch of deadlines and need a quick break to refresh yourself or you need reading material while traveling to JEA next week, we highly recommend Idea File. Whether you are interested in our tutorials, reading about multicultural coverage in yearbooks, making yearbook experience shine on college applications or lessons learned by a new yearbook adviser, there is something for everyone.

Need Idea File on the go? No problem. Head over to walsworthyearbooks.com/ideafile to view the digital magazine online. We can’t offer the smell of paper, but we can promise all the same great content at your fingertips.

If you are not a Walsworth customer but would like to receive Idea File magazine in the future, reach out to your local Walsworth Yearbooks sales rep to arrange delivery for next issue! We’re already working on the spring issue, and we promise, it’s going to be wonderful.
